The ITECH IT8700 Series Multi-channel Programmable DC Electronic Loads are single channel or dual channels high accuracy programmable DC electronic loads with high resolution and accuracy and superior performance and efficiency. The IT8700 Series are composed of 8 models of modules with high measurement resolution 0.1mV/0.01mA in max, CV/CC//CR/CP modes, short-circuit simulation, List mode, dynamic mode, dynamic power distribution mode, easy operation and display access keys and freely system architecture configurable, all providing the greatest test convenience for complex tests and solution easily and rapidly. Working with IT8702 mainframe and even the IT8703 extended mainframe, the IT8700 Series modules can support up to 16 channels and each channel is grounded separately to avoid short circuit damage. The IT8700 Series have voltage and current measurement function, without the need of voltmeter and ammeter and thus reducing the cost to user.   • The IT8700 Series has a high performance microprocessor in every module and mainframe. The system controls modules synchronously and can also test multi-output batteries synchronously
  • Voltage and current measurement function to save costs on extra voltmeter and ammeter
  • Separate grounding: Every IT8700 Series module is grounded separately to avoid short-circuit damage
  • Master-slave design allows all IT8700 Series modules to work simultaneously in CV, CC, CR and CP modes
  • Automatic test function: When applied in auto test, an user can judge whether the test parameters of DUT are within specification limits and adjust according to Go/NG output states
  • Dynamic mode: Dynamic mode enables the IT8700 Series module to periodically switch between two load-levels.  A power supply’s regulation and transient characteristic can be evaluated by monitoring the supply’s output voltage waveform under varying combination of load levels, frequency, duty cycle and slew rate.  The IT8700 Series can supply transient operation not only in CC mode but also in CV and CR mode.  Transient operation can be used in test integral response of the circuit, e.g., the current changes when the disk driver runs and stops.  Transient operation can simulate these conditions (See photo section)
  • List mode:  Not limited to just switching between two levels, the List mode helps you generate more complex sequences of input changes with several different levels (See photo section)
  • Remote sense: When working in CC, CV, CP and CR mode, if the electronic load consumes a very large current, it will cause a voltage drop in the leads between the connected device and terminals of the electronic load. In order to ensure testing accuracy, the electronic load provides a pair of remote sensing terminals in the rear panel where users can sense the output terminal voltage of the connected device.  Users should set the electronic load in REMOTE SENSE mode before using this function.  By eliminating the effect of the voltage drop in the load leads, remote sensing provides greater accuracy by allowing the electronic load to regulate directly at the source’s output terminals (See photo section)
